My sister-in-law Heather came for a week’s visit. Sunday is church and family day in American Samoa, so there are few things you can do outside. Not wanting to waste a day off, we hiked in to the tidepools near Vatia. It is not in a village, so is a perfect thing for a Sunday! Unfortunately, the rocks are really slippery and there were incoming swells…. so Heather hiked in but wasn’t able to get all the way down to the water. AND she cut her leg. AS is a pretty steep place, not easy to explore… So here are some pictures for her of what she missed!
