Above the village of Utulei is a hiking trail. It starts behind the Gatava’i Laundromat and winds up the ridge to a viewpoint with several relics (huge naval guns) from World War II. It then crosses the ridge to the area of the old tramway landing on the other side of Utulei. You can come down and return by the street, stopping at the Goat Island Cafe for refreshments and perhaps a swim!
