On our last morning in the Serengeti, we really wanted to see Cheetah. Not that we didn’t love lions and such, but…
We were in for a really spectacular day. First we came across a group of hyenas feeding on a gazelle. As the hyena moved off, two birds fought over remains of the carcass. The Golden eagle actually grabbed the beak of the vulture with its talon!
We also did find several Cheetah. The most amazing of all was a juvenile male calling out to probably a brother. The sounds were unreal. We all listened for a long time, just enthralled with the experience.
Lastly, as we were heading out, we came across a lovely elephant as he was grazing.
Words can hardly describe the day.
Here is the cheetah video!!
So glad you captured the cheetah’s voice! And good photos too.
