The Serengeti ~ Tanzania

After a lovely sunrise from the Sopa Lodge on the Crater’s edge, we drove back down past the viewpoint and over the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Next:  the Serengeti. We spent 3 days on the Serengeti, and the two nights at the Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp.  I can’t believe how many things they load up and move to other areas as the animals move in search of food and water. Amazing. Beds, carpets, en-suite showers and toilets that flush…

Mostly though, the animals are just amazing. And driving around in the jeeps to watch them is pretty fun.  (No carsickness since I rode in the front seat, hooray!)  I have hundreds of photos, as  you can imagine, but these are a few of my favorites.
